Step One

Actively Recruit The Best Talent Around

We're very active in the UX community, industry associations, Slack groups, and proactively place job descriptions and ask for referrals to find the very best freelance and moonlighting UX Designers.

Step Two

Rigorous Skills Review

We review each designer’s portfolio, professional experience, client and employer feedback, and work samples to assess their level of expertise and knowledge of best practices. Most freelancers must complete a skill-specific assessment before acceptance.

Step Three

Video Interview

Our final layer of screening is a video interview that assesses communication skills, critical thinking, and professionalism.

Step Four

Sample Project

Each candidate is assigned a test project to evaluate whether they can “walk the walk.” Test projects provide real-world scenarios for candidates to demonstrate their competence, thoroughness, professionalism, and integrity over what is typically 1-3 weeks.

If all above criteria are met

We add the designer to our talent roster and begin matching them with client projects like yours.


Measurement & Improvement

Our designers are expected to maintain a perfect track record while working with clients. We check-in with you every 2 weeks to ensure quality service and do not tolerate sub-par work or poor communication for any reason.
